Ian is an insightful community planner who helps clients grapple with and address complex issues around housing, growth, and displacement. He specializes in highlighting and illuminating key sticking points, using his wide range of technical skills to develop products that are accessible, informative, and well suited for each project. He is passionate about sharing knowledge with colleagues, students, and the public, motivating his involvement in several APA Washington conference sessions and years spent working with middle schoolers as a part-time teaching artist with Seattle Architecture Foundation. Prior to MAKERS, Ian worked in community engagement and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay.
