MAKERS is proud to announce the promotion of three employees: Scott Bonjukian, Ian Crozier, and Markus Johnson.

Scott Bonjukian, AICP • Senior Associate, Urban Design & Community Planning Team

Scott has been with MAKERS since 2015 and is committed to helping communities find unique and supportive solutions to complex needs. He is a highly organized and thoughtful project manager, particularly skilled at integrating stakeholder feedback in all stages of the process. He has a master’s degree in urban planning and urban design specialization from the University of Washington and is a Certified Planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).

Outside of the office , Scott co-leads the Lid I-5 Seattle community campaign, and enjoys bike rides and spending quality time with his family.

Ian Crozier, AICP • Associate 2, Urban Design & Community Planning Team

Ian has brought relentless curiosity, creative strategic thinking, and a commitment to quality work at MAKERS since 2017. He has a passion for zoning reform and addressing housing scarcity. Ian is a Certified Planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is highly skilled in technical writing, quantitative analysis, and public engagement.

When not working, Ian enjoys sketching, reading, and exploring the Pacific Northwest via bike, public transit, and on foot.

Markus Johnson • Associate 1, Urban Design & Community Planning Team

Markus joined MAKERS in 2022 and has become an integral team member, engaging the community, and leading the team in securing work. His ability to interface with clients and the community alike have made him a force on our team. He is passionate about creating environments and spaces that allow people to thrive.

Outside of working hours, Markus enjoys researching and writing about how to make cities better places, taking a bike ride through the city on a warm day, and catching up with friends.

Taylor Aldape

Taylor is MAKERS' HR specialist and holds a degree in business administration. She has learned that internal customer service is just as important as external. She serves both employees and the firm with effective communication, problem-solving, and compassion, and aims to create a positive impact.
