As a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Travis brings firsthand understanding of the needs and challenges faced by service members and their families to MAKERS’ federal planning studio. His travels and experiences during service sparked his interest in how communities and government facilities emerge and evolve. With a background in infrastructural and residential project management, Travis combines development experience with a deep commitment to advancing equity and environmental quality by improving the lives of those in need.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working? Creating, building, art, playing guitar, camping, hiking or urban exploring with my family.

If you could have a conversation with anyone throughout history, who would it be? Carl Sagan because he had such an eloquent way of explaining humanity. Fun Fact: My partner and I have matching “Pale Blue Dot” tattoo’s.

What’s something people are surprised to find out about you? I’ve donated over 2 gallons of blood in my lifetime.
