Jorge joined MAKERS in 2024, bringing a background in architecture and real estate to the federal facility planning team. He is passionate about directly impacting a city’s aesthetic fabric, making cities enjoyable by designing active public spaces. He has a professional interest climate impact mitigation, including the effect of eminent sea level rise, as well as housing issues in coastal cities. His master’s thesis studied the financial feasibility of affordable and middle housing for multifamily projects in San Diego.

What cause/nonprofit do you support? The reintroduction of endangered marine life using hatchery and farming programs to boost local populations.
