The Pacific Hospital Preservation and Development Authority (PHPDA) is the steward of the historic campus that includes the Pacific Hospital tower located on the northern point of Seattle’s Beacon Hill. We assisted PHPDA with a master development plan, which provides a strategic framework to guide future preservation and development decisions for the southern portion of the Pacific Hospital campus. We explored the site through research and on-site investigations and engaged a diverse community of stakeholders to understand current needs, challenges, and future opportunities. Our tools and recommendations will assist PHPDA as they make future use decisions for the campus.
Outcomes
- Engaged a diverse community of stakeholders, including meetings with 29 nonprofit and community groups.
- Hosted productive work sessions with community advisory group.
