MAKERS worked with the City of Lacey to assess their primary governmental facilities and develop near- and long-term recommendations that can be folded into a new Capital Facilities Plan. Evaluation of the citywide facility portfolio helped city leaders understand the critical needs of city hall, public works, operations center, and animal services facilities. The plan’s recommendations will help the City focus investment where needed and leverage investment opportunities while being flexible to change.
Outcomes
- Developed interim concepts to address near-term needs at City Hall while building support for future investments
- Identified solutions to meet critical needs at the Public Works and Animal Services headquarters
- Developed a detailed Master Plan and incorporated recommendations into a refreshed citywide Capital Facilities Plan
