With degrees in both architecture and urban planning, Scott brings a comprehensive approach to site analysis, master planning, and urban design. Prior to MAKERS he worked at the City of Port Orchard planning department working on the city’s long range planning and current transportation projects. His many interests include public space and street design, transit systems, pedestrian and bicycle planning, and natural resource protection. His skills in graphic design, writing, research, and public engagement have enabled him to contribute to a variety of project types and sizes.
Outside of the office Scott advocates for progressive land use and transportation solutions at The Northwest Urbanist and is involved with local politics on the Board of Directors at The Urbanist. He also enjoys traveling and photography, and he can be found bicycling, snowboarding, camping, and hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest.
