Get To Know Traci

What’s the most inspiring part of your job? The MAKERS team welcomed me into their “family” with open arms and hearts, and I see every day how each person contributes to the fabulous work here and works collaboratively towards the common goal. I enjoy being the “behind the scenes” person who can help keep the engine humming – I leave the creativity to them.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working? In spring and summer (dry weather time), I spend most of my free time in my yard and being in nature with friends. In the wet fall/winter months I enjoy quilting and working with JCCARE dog rescue. Anytime with my friends and family are the best.

Cats or dogs? Dogs for sure, and Japanese Chin, in particular – in the rescue world, we call them cats in dog suits as they act more like cats. I have been involved in a national Japanese Chin dog rescue group (JCCARE) for the past 15 years, as a foster, fundraiser, and board member/treasurer. There is always room for one more chin.
