Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms is an expeditionary training hub for the Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School (MCCES), Communications School (Comm School), Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group (MCTOG), and Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG). Communications training has changed over the years but facilities have not kept pace to support the curriculum.  In addition, inventory does meet requirements (over 800,000 SF) and the 84-acre campus lacks a coordinated layout with pedestrian orientation, a sense of place, and functional open space. The Campus Concept Study creates a vision to address these conditions and guides the creation of a positive learning environment over multiple years. Plan elements include stakeholder workshops, leadership briefings, BFR development, and eight 1391s.
